100 Word Challenge Week4

Latest prompt
Since we came back from our short trip to Honfleur in northern France, I’ve been struck down with VERTIGO.
I had always thought you only got that if you were on a hugh building looking down! Sadly, that is not the case & at the moment I’m not really safe to go walking on my own. It looks like I might have had too many glasses of wine!
Anyway, I thought it was a great opportunity for a prompt for you all to write about. It is:
… as I turned my head, the world spun…
Things to think about:
  • What has happened to you?
  • Where are you?
  • What does it feel like?
  • What will you do?
Remember to submit the link of your blog post on the 100 WC website.

For this week blogging activity, I want you to write a blog that...
  1. Summarises your highlights so far this term. What have you really enjoyed so far.
  2. Explain how you felt about your student led conference – you need to explain what a student led conference is for visitors to our blog first. Make sure you add how your parents reacted to your presentation and what feedback they gave you at the end of your conference.

Blogging Challenge #10

This week the blogging challenge is all about your participation in the blogging challenge.

Week 10 Tasks STUBC

Here are some prompts to help with your reflection...
Option One: Write a post on your blog reflecting on your participation in the challenge.
These are the sorts of prompts you could answer in your post:
  • How many weeks of the challenge did you participate in?
  • How many posts did you write in the ten week period?
  • How many comments did you receive from classmates, teachers, or other visitors?
  • Which post did you enjoy writing the most and why?
  • Which web tools did you use to show creativity on your blog?
  • What are your plans for your blog now? Will you keep posting?
Option Two: Ask a student/teacher/family member who might not have read your blog to do an audit.
Sit beside them while they navigate around your blog, record what you observe as they interact with your blog. When finished, ask them the following questions:
  1. What were your first impressions of this blog?
  2. What captured your attention?
  3. What distracted you on the blog?
  4. What suggestions can you give me to improve my blog?
